Dr. Cecere is a native of Western New York and has resided in Buffalo region for over 30 years. He graduated with Senior Honors with a double major in Biology and Chemistry from Valparaiso University. In 1991 he graduated from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and received multiple awards including: Election to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Award, New York State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Research Award, the William L. Tucker Award. During dental school he performed research and published in the areas of Laser Surgery and Photodynamic therapy. He received the AADR Student research Fellowship, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery Research Fellowship and the Dr. Glenn H. Leak Memorial Summer Fellowship for the study in Oncology.

Upon completion of Dental School, he entered the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at SUNY Buffalo and completed his training in 1996. During his residency he received his medical degree and completed an internship in General Surgery. He received the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Resident Research Award and the S. Robert Narins Prize in Dermatology for his research paper 'Detection and Treatment of Premalignant Oral Lesions using Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)'

He now resides in East Amherst, New York with his wife Gina and their three children.

Lauramarie joined Dr. Cecere's team in 2022 as the practice manager. She began her dental career in 2016 after transitioning from the education field. Lauramarie has extensive dental knowledge and her experience in financial and management areas orchestrates the seamless operation of our practice. Her educational background and love for the healthcare drive her commitment to excellence in patient care. She is enthusiastic about educating patients on their treatment understanding dental benefits. Outside of the practice Lauramarie likes to keep active in the gym and being outdoors. She values her time with her husband Mike as they enjoy travel, cooking, and wine tasting.

Christina S., a native of Western New York, has been Dr. Cecere's surgical assistant since graduating from SUNY Buffalo state in 2017 with a BS degree in Health and Wellness. During college Christina played lacrosse, but now, when she's not working, she is running, spending time with family, friends and her two dogs.
